The perfect first food packed with iron, fiber and natural sweetness! Smooth, creamy and full of nutrients for growing tummies.

Ingredients
- 1 medium sweet potato, peeled & cubed
- 1/4 cup red lentils, rinsed
- 1 cup low-sodium vegetable broth or water
- 1 tsp olive oil or coconut oil
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- Breastmilk/formula to thin (optional)
Directions
Cook Together: In a small pot, combine sweet potato, lentils, broth and oil. Bring to boil then simmer for 15 mins until very soft.
- Blend Smooth: Transfer to blender (or mash thoroughly) until silky smooth. Add cinnamon if using.
- Adjust Texture: Thin with breastmilk/formula as needed for the baby's age.
- Serve/Cool: Offer warm or store in ice cube trays for easy portions!
